The Tigers are going bowling in Jacksonville!

Today it was announced that the Tigers are going bowling in Jacksonville in the Gator Bowl Classic on Jan.1st!!! I can't wait to go to the game. I have never been to the Gator Bowl or Jacksonville. I was very lucky that the game doesn't interfere with my travel plans to Indiana, so it looks like a nice long break for Christmas!

We also put up our Christmas tree the other day. This year we have a Clemson tree. It is decorated with orange/purple ornaments. I love it! Colin picked out the candy canes....sweet tarts. He picked them not because of what they looked like but because they are his favorite candy.

T-minus 16 days until I am in Lafayette to see all my family and friends!

Thanksgiving Weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend spent with friends and family! Thursday we had Thanksgiving dinner with the entire Rickett's family...wonderful food and fun!

Thursday night Julie, Gary and Lauren came to visit for the weekend. We had a great time! Colin worked his 1st Black Friday and....SURVIVED!! He had to be at work at 3:45 AM. Friday I went shopping in Greenville with Lauren and Ju
lie and we survived the mass of shoppers as well. Friday night we cheered on the Tiger basketball team to a victory over PC! 7-0....is a great start to the season!

Saturday concluded the regular season for Clemson Football and what a finish it was! The Tigers are going BOWLING after a great victory over the Chickens! After the game we had some football fun of our own at the apartment. The pictures are from some of our fun!

I heard it was snowing in Lafayette today and that really bummed me out! I can't wait to be home on the 19th for Christmas! I really hope that it snows while we are there!

Random Pictures of our life in South Carolina

I just thought that I would add some pictures of our life this past year in South Carolina!

Summer Weddings 2008

This summer I attended two friends weddings. One was a couple that Colin and I were good friends with from high school that got married, the other was one of my co-workers.

Jeannie and Ryan got married in Knoxville, Tennessee. We has such an amazing time, thanks for inviting us guys! It was so great to see all of our frie
nds from high school, some we haven't seen for a few years. If you knew this group of guys and were at the wedding, you would have been able to tell that they haven't changed! Their crazy antics were crazier than ever! It was such a good time!

I work with Mike at the Clemson Athletic Department and he got married this summer in Hazard, Kentucky. I went to this wedding with my friend Mark who also works with us, Colin was coaching at a snapping camp this weekend. We had a great time at the wedding with some of my good friends from work!

I love weddings!!

3.15.08

March 15, 2008....a day I will never forget!

Colin and I got married at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. It was more than
I had dreamt it would be! It was
great to be surrounded by our loving family and friends. I am so glad that our grandparents could be there with us.

Jess and Scott, thanks for making the trip! Scott you did an awesome
job.
Dylan was Colin's Best Man and Jessica was my Maid of Honor (I can't wait for your wedding).

After the wedding we honeymooned in Hilton Head, South Carolina....loved it!

You are never too old to dress up...

This year for Halloween we decided to get dressed up and go downtown!
Some of the girls that I work with went too! We decided to dress up as different types of music. I decided to be country music, Natalie was hip-hop and Kate was 80's music. We had a great time!
Colin met us out for awhile and came as Magnum PI. His mustache was very legit! The best part of the night was people watching! People get so creative with this costumes!! Some of my favorites included a girl that went as grapes and also a retired Hooters girl!

As I said earlier, I will be doing some backtracking on my blogging to get everyone up to date! Look a wedding post soon!

My first blog!

I have officially started the Leonard Blog! I thought this would be a great way to keep our family and friends who are so far away updated with our busy lives! We hate that we live so far away, but love our life in Clemson! I'm going to have to back track about a year in our lives to get this blog up to date, so please bear with me.

I will update you on our Homecoming weekend though! This weekend was Homecoming in Tigertown! Friday night I went to Tigerama with Kate and Z, it was great! I really love all the tradition that surrounds Homecoming at Clemson. Saturday Colin and I decided to watch the Tiger Walk, a new tradition at Clemson. The team enters the locker room after walking through about 20,000 people cheering for them. It is such an exciting thing to see all the fans really rally around the guys! Colin actually participated in Tiger Walk yesterday. They invited former players to walk and so Colin joined some of his old teammates! I was so mad though that it happened so fast I didn't get to take a picture of him walking! We then went on to beat Duke 31-7!! Go Tigers!

Today I am going to try and do some Christmas shopping! Everyone knows that Christmas is my favorite time of the year!
Well, I am going to go and try and recover some of my old photos so that I can backtrack a year in our lives to update everyone!

I hope that you enjoy our blog! We love and miss you all very much!
