Dining Room Update

We finally finished the dinning room! It was the first room we painted when we moved in and then it just sat there unfinished until last night. I'd been searching for drapes forever it seems like. We painted the bottom under the chair rail an orange so it was very hard to find drapes. I finally found some at Pier 1 and they were 50% off! Only problem was that I couldn't find them in the store. I ended up having to order them from Rockford, Illinois, but it was worth it...they match PERFECT! The next step was to get rid of the UGLY light fixture. We finally found one we liked at Lowes last night. Again, I have to say I am super lucky to be married to someone so handy because he put up the curtain rods and the switched the light out, all things that I would not be good at. I am totally in love with my dining room now! Below are some before and after pictures! Enjoy!

Welcoming My BFF's to the Blogging World!

I'm so excited today because in the last 24 my BFF's have joined the blogging world! I think they got so sick of me asking them to start blogging they finally broke down. I am excited because I no longer live in Lafayette with them let alone the same townhouse!

Jessica and Megan are two of the most fun girls you will ever meet. There is never a dull moment when we are all together and I cherish the time that we have when we do get together. All girls need friends like these two. If you get a chance stop by their blogs, they will be sure to entertain you!

Bathroom Redo!

First, I have to start this blog out by saying that I have a super handy husband and lucky because I am not handy! We hated the boring 1/2 bath that we had downstairs and so we decided to update it. We painted the whole bathroom, Colin took out the pedestal sink and replaced it with a new vanity, new lighting and all new fixtures. Below are the before and after pictures. I can't wait to show everyone our dining room with the new curtains once we get a new light. We are still looking for one though! Hope you like the new bathroom!
